origami crane variation by pandaraoke origami crane variation by pandaraoke
Another variation on the traditional Japanese crane. I love adding curves. Foil paper holds the details nicely.

That is very cool. I'm not generally a fan of cranes but this one is so elegant and beautiful.

very sophisticated, it has that elegant simplicity going for it. I've never seen a crane done like this before. i looks like a butterfly with the curve and twirl of the wings..is this the same paper crane as the traditional one just with the curvature of the wings? or a totally different design? :iconpoundplz:

traditional with a little twirl or two added in to make it look different. I was playing around with adding some personality to the standard crane. Foil is awesome for that! Thank you!

Thank you very much! I have another picture with a couple other variations of the standard crane you might like too. i love curving/curling things. I think it gives it more personality and more of a "natural" look.

Thank you very much! Yes... foil is pretty awesome. It's a bit unforgiving if I make a mistake but when I'm careful, it turns out nice and clean.

:) Wish I had the capability of care. I'm pretty sloppy.
Nevertheless, you do a wonderful job with it.

You are very kind with your complements. Thank you! It just takes a bit of time and a perfect square. If you look at my panda... I was pretty sloppy with that one. He couldn't even stand on his own! I had to lean his big ol' head against the wall to have it upright enough to take the picture. lol
